OT CLINICAL SUPERVISORS

Gisela Brittain is the Director and occupational therapist with over 20 years of experience in neurological rehabilitation across hospital, community, and private practice settings.

Known for her calm, practical approach, Gisela brings deep clinical insight and a genuine passion for mentoring early-career and transitioning clinicians. Her supervision style is supportive, structured, and grounded in real-world neuro practice helping OTs build confidence, clinical reasoning, and clarity in working with complex ABI and stroke presentations.

Janine Howlett is an experienced occupational therapist with over 20 years in neurological rehabilitation in hospital and community settings.

Janine has completed formal clinical supervision training through Michelle Bihary and brings a reflective, person-centred approach to her supervision sessions. Known for her calm presence and strong clinical reasoning, Janine supports clinicians to grow their confidence, navigate challenging cases, and develop a clear, evidence-informed framework for neuro practice.

Kylie Watson is a senior occupational therapist with over 20 years of experience in neurological rehabilitation, with advanced clinical knowledge in managing hypertonicity, upper limb rehabilitation, and spasticity.

Kylie brings a strong clinical focus to her supervision, helping clinicians deepen their understanding of tone management, upper limb recovery, and functional neuro rehab. Her supervision style is practical, evidence-based, and supportive of both skill development and clinical confidence.
